# BNB Chain

The second chain. Network settings, what you can raise in, and how it differs from Robinhood Chain.

Degen Games runs on **BNB Chain**, the second chain in the arcade. It's the same contracts and the same rules as [Robinhood Chain](/degen-games-docs/multi-chain/robinhood-chain.md) — the parameters are identical, and you can check them yourself.

## Network settings

|                     |                                    |
| ------------------- | ---------------------------------- |
| **Chain ID**        | `56`                               |
| **Gas token**       | BNB                                |
| **Public RPC**      | `https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org` |
| **Alternative RPC** | `https://bsc-rpc.publicnode.com`   |
| **Explorer**        | [bscscan.com](https://bscscan.com) |
| **Graduation DEX**  | Uniswap v4                         |

## Getting set up

1. **Add the network.** The app asks your wallet to switch to BNB Chain, or you can add it by hand with the settings above.
2. **Get BNB for gas** and for the **0.0015 BNB** launch fee.
3. **Optional: get a stablecoin or a tokenized stock** if you want to launch or buy a coin that raises in one.

## What you can raise in

| Raise asset | Starting (virtual) reserve | Graduates at |
| ------------------ | -------------------------: | -----------: |
| **BNB** (native)   |                    5.8 BNB |     14.5 BNB |
| **USDT**           |                 4,440 USDT |  11,100 USDT |
| **USD1**           |                 4,440 USD1 |  11,100 USD1 |
| **USDC**           |                 4,440 USDC |  11,100 USDC |
| **AAPLB** (Apple)  |                 13.1 AAPLB |   32.7 AAPLB |
| **NVDAB** (NVIDIA) |                 19.4 NVDAB |   48.5 NVDAB |

Every asset uses the same curve shape as everywhere else: the graduation target is **2.5×** the virtual reserve. More tokenized stocks are approved over time, and the live list is always readable on-chain with `approvedPairTokens(asset)` and `pairTokenEconomics(asset)` on the launch factory. See [Raise Assets](/degen-games-docs/how-the-game-works/raise-assets.md).

## Identical to Robinhood Chain

These aren't claims, they're getters. Read them on the BNB Chain factory and compare:

| Parameter             | On-chain value | Meaning                      |
| --------------------- | -------------- | ---------------------------- |
| `feeBps`              | `100`          | 1% trading fee               |
| `protocolFeeShareBps` | `3000`         | 0.3% platform / 0.7% creator |
| `snipeTaxSeconds`     | `3`            | 3-second snipe window        |
| `snipeTaxStartBps`    | `9900`         | up to 99%, decaying to zero  |
| `owner()` on any coin | `0x…dEaD`      | ownership burned at deploy   |

Graduation works the same way too: the curve fills, a Uniswap v4 pool is seeded at the curve's final price, the LP position goes to `0x…dEaD`, and roughly 8% of supply burns with it.

## What's different

|                             | Robinhood Chain            | BNB Chain                   |
| --------------------------- | -------------------------- | --------------------------- |
| **Gas token**               | ETH                        | BNB                         |
| **Launch fee**              | 0.0005 ETH                 | 0.0015 BNB                  |
| **Native raise asset** | ETH, graduating at 4.2 ETH | BNB, graduating at 14.5 BNB |
| **Stablecoin raise assets** | USDG                       | USDT, USD1, USDC            |

## Contracts

| Contract           | Address                                                                                                                |
| ------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Launch factory** | [`0xe3765fb78adaf2e3caa3ae190e4c770f234e4523`](https://bscscan.com/address/0xe3765fb78adaf2e3caa3ae190e4c770f234e4523) |
| **Meme hook**      | [`0x72b51E976575b87D527f85Ccb3C909200689cF14`](https://bscscan.com/address/0x72b51E976575b87D527f85Ccb3C909200689cF14) |

Every other contract resolves from the factory. See [Contracts](/degen-games-docs/developers/contracts.md).

{% hint style="info" %}
A coin lives on the chain it was launched on. A coin launched on BNB Chain has no copy on Robinhood Chain, even if the name and ticker match. Always check the contract address and the chain.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://degen-games-2.gitbook.io/degen-games-docs/multi-chain/bnb-chain.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
