# Connect Your Wallet

Connect a wallet, pick your chain, and load up credits.

Degen Games never holds your funds. Every launch, trade and claim is a transaction that your own wallet signs.

## What you need

* **A wallet.** Any browser wallet (MetaMask, Rabby and similar) or any mobile wallet through WalletConnect.
* **Credits.** Gas money on the chain you're playing on. On Robinhood Chain that's **ETH**.
* **The raise asset** of the coin you want to buy, if it isn't ETH. For example, USDG or a tokenized stock. See [Raise Assets](/degen-games-docs/how-the-game-works/raise-assets.md).

## Connect

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Open the arcade

Go to [degen.vip](https://degen.vip).
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Press CONNECT WALLET

It's in the top-right corner. Choose your browser wallet, or WalletConnect to scan with a phone wallet.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Pick your network

Use the network selector next to the wallet button (it shows **ROBINHOOD** by default). If your wallet is on a different chain, the app asks it to switch.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### You're in

The button changes to your wallet address. **Player 1 ready.**
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Add Robinhood Chain to your wallet

Most wallets add the network automatically when the app asks them to switch. To add it by hand, use:

| Field           | Value                                     |
| --------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| Network name    | Robinhood Chain                           |
| Chain ID        | `4663`                                    |
| Currency symbol | `ETH`                                     |
| RPC URL         | `https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com` |
| Block explorer  | `https://robin.etherscan.io`              |

More details: [Robinhood Chain](/degen-games-docs/multi-chain/robinhood-chain.md).

## Troubleshooting

| You see | What to do |
| --------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **NO WALLET FOUND** | Install a browser wallet such as MetaMask, or use WalletConnect. |
| **WRONG NETWORK** | Approve the network switch in your wallet, or pick the chain from the network selector. |
| **CONNECTOR UNAVAILABLE** | WalletConnect is temporarily down. Try again or use a browser wallet. |
| **You rejected the connection request** | Press CONNECT WALLET again and approve it in your wallet. |

{% hint style="danger" %}
Degen Games will **never** ask for your seed phrase or private key. Anyone who does is a scammer.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://degen-games-2.gitbook.io/degen-games-docs/player-1-press-start/connect-your-wallet.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `build a script that syncs our docs to a CMS` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
