# Risk Disclosures

Read this before you play.

Coins launched on Degen Games are created by users and are experimental. Hype the game, never the gains.

* **You can lose everything.** Newly launched tokens are extremely volatile. Most never graduate, and many go to zero.
* **Anyone can launch anything.** Any name, ticker and image can be used, including ones that imitate other projects. Degen Games doesn't verify or endorse coins.
* **Check the contract address.** It's the only thing that can't be copied.
* **Check the creator tax.** Creators can add up to 10% per trade. It's shown before you trade.
* **Graduation isn't a quality signal.** It only means the curve sold out. It doesn't guarantee liquidity, price or an exit.
* **King of the Hill, High Scores and the Trophy Room are games.** They rank activity and market cap. They aren't recommendations.
* **Raise assets carry their own risk.** A coin raised in USDG or a tokenized stock rises and falls with that asset too. Tokenized stocks have their own eligibility rules.
* **Holder rewards aren't yield.** They depend entirely on trading volume and can be zero.
* **$MANYU burns don't guarantee a price.** A burn reduces supply. That's all it does.
* **Displayed numbers are estimates.** Quotes, market caps and USD values can differ from what a transaction settles at.
* **Software can fail.** Smart contracts, wallets, RPCs, bridges, indexers and front-ends can have bugs or outages.
* **Transactions are final.** On-chain transactions can't be reversed. Tokens sent to the wrong address are gone.
* **Rules differ by country.** You're responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.

Degen Games is an interface to smart contracts. It's provided as is, without warranties. Nothing in these docs or on the platform is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Only play with money you can afford to lose.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://degen-games-2.gitbook.io/degen-games-docs/safety/risk-disclosures.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
