# King of the Hill

The biggest coin in the arcade gets the crown.

**Claim the hill.** One coin at a time wears the crown. The King of the Hill gets the gold frame at the top of the home screen and in the sidebar, where every player sees it.

## How the king is chosen

The king is the coin with the **biggest market cap** that also meets both of these:

| Rule                    | Why                                                           |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **$1K+ traded today** | The coin has real, current activity, not just a stale price. |
| **At least 1 hour old** | A coin one block old can't grab the crown on its first trade. |

The crown moves as soon as another coin qualifies with a bigger market cap.

## What the king's panel shows

* Market cap, 24-hour volume and holder count
* The **Road to Graduation** bar
* **TRADE NOW**, to open the coin
* **CLAIM THE HILL**, to launch your own challenger

## The badge

Put a coin you launched on the #1 spot and you unlock the legendary **KING OF THE HILL** achievement. See [Achievements](/degen-games-docs/the-arcade/achievements.md).

{% hint style="info" %}
The crown is a leaderboard spot, not an endorsement. The king can lose its crown, and its value, as fast as it got there.
{% endhint %}

# Agent Instructions

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://degen-games-2.gitbook.io/degen-games-docs/the-arcade/king-of-the-hill.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
