# The MANYU Token

$MANYU is the launchpad-supported token of Degen Games. Fixed supply, liquidity burned, contract renounced, 0/0 tax.

**$MANYU** is the community token of [Manyu (@RealManyu)](https://x.com/RealManyu), the social-media-famous Shiba Inu, and the **launchpad-supported token of Degen Games**.

Degen Games doesn't mint a new token of its own. The arcade's revenue goes to buying back and burning $MANYU. See [Buyback & Burn](/degen-games-docs/usdmanyu/buyback-and-burn.md).

{% hint style="warning" %}
Always check the contract address. Copycat tokens can use the MANYU name and ticker. The address above is the one the Degen Games buyback buys.

## Partners

* **Chainlink.** In September 2025, [Chainlink announced](https://x.com/chainlink/status/1970699713729994918) that MANYU had become a Cross-Chain Token using Chainlink CCIP. See [Chainlink × Manyu](/degen-games-docs/overview/chainlink-x-manyu.md).
* **HTX.** One of the world's largest crypto exchanges, and a partner of Manyu.

## Why MANYU?

* **One token, every chain.** However many chains the arcade runs on, all of their revenue flows back to one token.
* **No new token dilution.** Players aren't asked to buy into a fresh platform token with a team allocation. The buyback targets a token with burned liquidity, a renounced contract and no tax.
* **Aligned with play.** More launches and more trades mean more platform revenue, which means more $MANYU bought and burned.

{% hint style="info" %}
Nothing on this page is financial advice. A token burn reduces supply. It doesn't guarantee any price.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://degen-games-2.gitbook.io/degen-games-docs/usdmanyu/manyu-token.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `build a script that syncs our docs to a CMS` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
